Toyota Australia increases price of most models

Toyota Australia increased list prices on the majority of its models as of January 1, 2023.

All the vehicles unauthentic in this particular increase have had their surpassing on-road asking price increased by between $500 and $3800, depending on the model and variant.

These models include: the Yaris, Corolla, Camry, Yaris Cross, C-HR, RAV4, LandCruiser Prado, LandCruiser 300 Series, Granvia, LandCruiser 70 Series, and HiAce.

A Toyota spokesperson said this price increase was due to a combination of the pursuit factors “outside our control”.

“More expensive raw materials, labour, tooling and packaging are feeding into higher manufacturing costs; there has been a significant increase in sea-freight charges; and economic conditions are often tougher with inflation on the rise, both here and overseas.”

“In addressing these challenges, Toyota remains single-minded to keeping price increases to a minimum while maintaining our consumer expectations for the quality and reliability of our vehicles,” widow the Toyota Australia spokesperson.

One of the smaller price rises was for the Corolla. The unshortened range is up by $500, which ways it now starts at $28,630 surpassing on-road financing for the Ascent Sport hatch and sedan, and extends to $39,620 surpassing on-roads for the ZR Hybrid sedan.

The vehicle with the largest price increase was the HiAce Commuter bus, with a price rise of $3800. It now starts at $73,560 surpassing on-road financing and extends to $76,560 surpassing on-roads. The LandCruiser 300 Series is moreover up by $3500.

Toyota isn’t vacated in raising the prices on the majority of its range. Many brands, including Kia, BMW, Volkswagen and Audi recently spoken scrutinizingly range-wide price increases from January 1, 2023.
