Mercedes-AMG farewells C63 and E63 with Final Editions

Mercedes-AMG will see off the outgoing C63 Coupé and Cabriolet models with a limited number of Final Editions, as it prepares to usher in the new plug-in hybrid four-cylinder.

The V8-powered Mercedes-AMG C63 S Coupé and Cabriolet Final Editions get Manufaktur Graphite Grey magno paint offset by yellow and visionless grey decals.

There is moreover an Exterior Carbon Package and cross-spoke transfuse wheels – 19-inch on the front and 20-inch at the rear – overdue which sits the AMG ceramic front braking system.

Inside, the AMG Performance front seats are trimmed in grey and woebegone Nappa leather with yellow stitching, matching the wheel.

The motel is finished in visionless aluminium and matt carbon-fibre, while a Final Edition token on the centre panel adds to the exclusivity.

Meanwhile, the Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupé version adds the AMG Aerodynamics Package, plus an spare Final Edition token on the C-pillar.

The Final Edition packages add a respective $26,400 and $28,400 to the Cabriolet and Coupé list prices, taking them to $239,000 (Cabriolet) and $218,400 (Coupé) plus on-road costs.

A “highly limited number” of both will be brought to Australia, Mercedes-AMG says, without disclosing an word-for-word amount.

At the same time Mercedes-AMG has moreover revealed a Final Edition version of the larger E63 S 4MATIC sedan.

It gets the Manufaktur Graphite Grey magno paint offset by silver-white decals, the Exterior Carbon Package, and 20-inch AMG cross-spoke transfuse wheels.

Performance-wise, an AMG ceramic braking system then features, as do Multibeam LED headlights.

The interior has AMG Performance front seats finished in Nappa grey or woebegone with yellow stitching, and an AMG Performance steering wheel finished in leather and faux suede.

Carbon trim is scattered throughout the cabin, while the Driving Assistance Package and the augmented reality navigation overlay feature.

The Final Edition package for the Mercedes-AMG E63 S 4MATIC sedan is priced at $39,900 in wing to the standard vehicle pricing of $272,000, making it $311,900.
